Traditional Craft, Contemporary Design
You will find me most Saturdays and Thursdays at Studio 36 in Resorts World Birmingham where I help people Create a Wearable Masterpiece- see my 'Workshops' page for more details.
With over 20 years teaching art and design from level 1 to level 5 for ages 8 upwards, I offer workshops in bookbinding, sewing, textiles, drawing and watercolour painting.

About me
A few years ago I started to take paper marbling seriously. It had always been something I enjoyed doing, but during a difficult time in my life I found that the process of water marbling relaxed my mind and helped me de-stress. I soon ended up with lots of sheets of beautiful marbled paper, so I decided to use them in my bookbinding - now it's become part of my brand.
My handmade books are more than a product I'm selling, they helped restore my self-belief as a maker, and gave me a goal so I could move forward. I hope they can mean something amazing to you. Fill these books with whatever makes you feel good, and enjoy.
All my work is handmade using traditional techniques - just me, in my kitchen/studio, with hand held tools, and lots of love, care and enthusiasm for my craft.
